This test is not approved by the FDA for this sample type.
Performance characteristics and reference range have not been
verified. A published study using Roche Diagnostics cobas 8000
analyzers has demonstrated that analysis of LDH in cerebrospinal
fluid shows no evidence of systematic matrix interference. Results
should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical findings.

Centrifuge within one hour of draw time.
Centrifuge at a speed and time necessary to get barrier separation of plasma/serum and cells.
Label transport tube with two patient identifiers, date and time of collection.
Indicate specimen/fluid type on requisition.
