Intended Use
*Aid in the diagnosis of blastomycosis
*Monitoring therapy

Test Limitations:

*Cross-reactions occur in histoplasmosis, paracoccidioidomycosis, penicilliosis, coccidioidomycosis and rarely in aspergillosis and possibly in sporotrichosis. *Sputolysin and NaOH treatment degrade the analyte detected in the assay. *Negative results do not exclude histoplasmosis: testing both urine and serum offers the highest sensitivity. *Failure of antigen to rise does not exclude relapse.
