Due to increased supply cost and decreased test demand, the Molecular Pathology laboratory will discontinue the following in-house test offerings effective May 17th, 2022:

• DMPK Detection of Abnormal Alleles with Interpretation (LAB2480)
• SNRPN/UBE3A Methylation Analysis (Angelman Syndrome) with Interpretation (LAB2443)
• SNRPN/UBE3A Methylation Analysis (Prader-Willi Syndrome) with Interpretation (LAB2483)

BThe orders will be replaced with the following send-out tests to ARUP Laboratories:

• Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1 (DMPK) CTG Expansion (LAB9220)
• Angelman Syndrome and Prader-Willi Syndrome by Methylation-Sensitive PCR (LAB9219)

Collection instructions remain the same. Turn-around-time is 7-10 days upon receipt at ARUP Laboratories.
