Please be aware that due to an unexpected supply chain issue, you may soon start to see a smaller substitute PST Tube being stocked in your Omnicells or sent to your patient care area when you request a resupply of PST tubes.  We are working with Procurement and with our vendor to stabilize the supply chain for PST tubes, but in the meantime, wanted you to be aware of this substitute product.  To maximize the lab’s ability to perform all requested tests, please be sure to fill the PST tube. 

We will provide further updates to you on this supply issue as more information becomes available.
