Today, Tuesday, November 9^th, 2021, hardware required for transmitting Core Laboratory test results will be undergoing necessary updates from approximately 21:00 – 22:00. 

Test ordering through Epic will not be affected, but chemistry (e.g., Basic Metabolic Panel, Troponin T), hematology (e.g., Complete Blood Count), coagulation, blood gas, and urinalysis testing will be delayed in that time window.

During this downtime, specimens from the Emergency Department and Operating Rooms will be prioritized for manual reporting of test results in Epic.
