Effective Tuesday, October 11, 2016, the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) critical care laboratory changed the adult (18+ years old) reference range for lactic acid, whole blood:

Reference ranges for lactic acid for pediatric patients (less than 18 years old) are not changing.
