Effective immediately, Direct Antiglobulin test (DAT) Epic # LAB5548 will replace:
   Direct Antiglobulin – Polyspecific (LAB4360)
   Direct Antiglobulin – IgG (LAB4359)</p>

When Direct Antiglobulin test (DAT) is ordered, Blood Bank staff will perform the appropriate test (polyspecific antiglobulin or IgG) based on patient age. Patients that are greater than 4 months old will have testing performed using polyspecific antiglobulin antisera. Patients less than 4 months old will have testing performed using anti-IgG antisera only.
