Blood Product Administration: Difficulty Scanning

Blood Bank is having problems printing the Blood Product labels that are used during administration scanning in Epic.  Users have reported that they are experiencing problems scanning the barcodes for expiration date and blood type.
 
If a user experiences these problems, after scanning the unit number and product code, the user:

The date field can be in any date format.  This is an example.

The drop down for unit blood type contains all blood types.

The reason for not scanning would be #3.  Barcode unreadable.
