Effective Tuesday, May 29, 2012, there will be re-organization of where some point-of-care tests appear in Epic Results Review.  The change will be to populate these tests into more informative categories than simply the generic "POINT OF CARE TESTING” folder.  This change was prompted by clinician inquiries related to difficulty finding certain testing, especially as similar testing (e.g., pregnancy testing) can be found in different folders.  This will include testing from Student Health and UICMS sites.

The overall changes are as follows:

Pregnancy screens	PREGNANCY/HCG TESTING
Rapid strep testing	INFECTION-BACTERIA
Influenza rapid screens	INFECTION-VIRUSES
Wet mount exams	INFECTION-FUNGI/PARASITES
RSV screens	INFECTION-VIRUSES
HIV saliva test	INFECTION-HIV/STDS
