Starting 11/25/09 testing for flow cytometric detection/quantitation for fetal erythrocytes will be once again be performed in the Immunopathology lab. Samples should be delivered to Immunopathology between the hours of 8 -5 M-F and to Specimen Control after hours.

Sample requirements remain the same: 4 mL lavender (EDTA) or pink (K2 EDTA). Absolute minimum: 1 mL whole blood.

Cord blood samples are not an acceptable sample type.
