Effective March 14, 2009, automatic printouts of completed laboratory results will stop printing on inpatient locations. The Department of Pathology discontinued printing laboratory results for patient medical records on 01/01/2003. All Laboratory results are available on-line in both IPR and Epic. Discontinuing this automatic print job will save paper and toner costs as well as reduce confidential trash.
