The new Quantiferon TB Gold test can now be performed at UHL-Oakdale; however, testing ordered at UIHC must be coordinated with the Mailouts section in Pathology.

CALL 356-8593 MAILOUTS for notification and collection setup.
This testing now requires 3 specialized tubes for collection.
The specialized tubes are stored in Mailouts and collection can be facilitated by our personnel.

It is strongly recommended that the collections occur between 10:00 am and NOON Mon-Thurs. The courier for UHL picks up samples at 13:30 daily.

KEY POINTS:
   UHL WILL ONLY PROVIDE TESTING MON.-THURS.
   UHL MUST HAVE 24 HOURS NOTICE PRIOR TO COLLECTION.
   NO KITS WILL BE HANDED OUT.
