Beginning Tuesday, April 24, 2007, the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory will offer an in house immunoassay for Sirolimus. Values for Sirolimus produced by the immunoassay are on average 25% higher than the current mailout assay which utilizes LC/MS/MS. This is because the immunoassay measures metabolites of Sirolimus not seen in the LC/MS/MS method. Sample requirements remain the same. Assays will be performed on Tuesday and Friday in a batch mode.
