The Commercial Mailout section in the Core Laboratory is developing a computer interface with the Mayo Medical Laboratory. This will allow for direct entry of results into the IPR medical record. However, a brief delay in normal service is necessary in order to finish pending tests and activate the new interface. Therefore, samples will be shipped to Mayo as usual up until Friday, November 16, 2007 prior to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Samples will then be held temporarily. Shipping to Mayo will resume beginning Tuesday, November 27, 2007 and results will then be reported via the new interface.
