On Saturday, June 2, IPR e-orders for laboratory testing for the Hemostasis-Thrombosis laboratory will have a minor change on the ordering dialog box which will indicate if the test requires a Hematology Consult. The printed requisition has some additional changes including a reminder to label with two patient identifiers and an area to select who collected the specimen. Prior to June 2, these orders printed on the “Core lab” IPR requisition, the H/T orders will now print on a separate requisition.

In addition, e-orders for laboratory testing on the Therapeutic Drug Assay requisition have a minor change in the ordering dialog box changing the word “Other” to “Random”. The selections are now Peak/Trough/Random. The printed requisition has some additional changes including a reminder to label with two patient identifiers and an area to select who collected the specimen.
