“As of today, the Immunopathology laboratory is changing the procedure for absolute CD4 counts. A new source of fluorescent calibration beads (“TruCount” beads) will be utilized. This change requires that blood samples be drawn in lavender top tubes (EDTA). As of today (June 26, 2007) please submit blood samples in EDTA tubes only.
