Change in Frequency for Viral Testing


Due to staffing and efficiency considerations, the testing schedule for Hepatitis B surface antigen, antibody, and core antibody, Hepatitis C antibody, HTLV I/II antibody, HIV I/II antibody, and Syphilis serology (Rapid Plasmin Reagin) will be changed from three times a week to twice starting Jan. 30, 2006. Samples will be run on Tuesday and Friday during the day shift. Samples must be in the laboratory by 0600 on Tuesday and Friday in order to make the run. Hepatitis A antibody, Total, will be performed on Tuesday during the day shift. Questions to Ronald Feld, Ph.D., (6-1759).
