All laboratory testing requires the creation and completion of a visit.  If laboratory testing is to be completed on the day of the visit, the submitting department is responsible for creating a visit for the in- or out-patient and checking-in the patient in a timely manner.  The Pathology Laboratory Services Handbook has additional details regarding requisition completion.
