Epstein-Barr Viral Panel and Herpes Simplex IgG will Become a Mailout Test to ARUP
The Epstein-Barr Viral panel and Herpes Simplex IgG currently performed in the Clinical Microbiology Laboratories will become a mail-out test to ARUP Laboratories effective immediately. This decision was necessitated by staffing shortages in Microbiology.
To order this test use the Miscellaneous requisition A-1A and deliver the sample to Specimen Control, 6240 RCP. Sample collection remains the same. Additional details are available in the Pathology Laboratory Services Handbook at:
