The Immunopathology Laboratory will begin using new reagents for the enzyme-immunoassay (EIA) for anti-double stranded DNA as of May 6, 2004. The reference range will change as shown below:

The laboratory will continue to confirm positive anti-ds-DNA EIA results with indirect immunofluorescence microscopy using Crithidia lucilliae substrate.
