Beginning Tuesday, July 1, 2003, the Clinical Chemistry Laboratory will institute a new assay for cyclosporine. The new assay compares well with the current assay but is more automated and less expensive. For two weeks prior to instituting the new assay we will report the value obtained by the new assay as a comment attached to the value obtained by the current assay.
