Due to staffing shortages on the phlebotomy team, we would like to remind all patient care areas of the deadlines for receipt of phlebotomy requisitions in the laboratory.

AM Phlebotomy: deadline is midnight
PM Phlebotomy: deadline is 5:00 PM.

In order to balance workload and dispatch phlebotomists to the appropriate areas in a timely fashion, we will be enforcing these deadlines. Requisitions can be delivered to the laboratory by the pneumatic tube system.
