Comments:
This testing is used for patients with evidence of alloimmune 
platelet transfusion refractoriness, to aid in the selection of HLA 
compatible platelet units.  It is also used to determine whether a 
patient who is being evaluated for hematopoietic stem cell transplant 
has antibodies against HLA Class I antigens expressed in potential 
donors, and aids in donor selection.

with the specimen.
