Epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA) can mimic bullous pemphigoid (BP)
clinically, histologically and immunologically. In this indirect
immunofluorescence assay, EBA and BP antibodies can be distinguished by
their localization in skin that is split at the lamina lucida.
