Minimum:

Preferred Minimum: 1 mL serum collected in a red-top tube.
Absolute Minimum: 0.6 mL serum collected in a red-top tube.
Indicate time of draw on test request form and specimen tube.

Rejection Criteria:

Grossly hemolyzed, icteric, lipemic or heparinized specimens.

2-5 days upon receipt at reference laboratory
