Test Limitations:
This test is not approved by the FDA for this sample type. Performance characteristics and reference range have not been verified. A published study using Roche Diagnostics cobas 8000 analyzers has demonstrated that analysis of urea nitrogen in vitreous fluid shows no evidence of systematic matrix interference. Results should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical findings.
