Comments:
Use of antistreptolysin O (ASO) for the diagnosis of acute group A
streptococcal infection is rarely indicated. False negative results
are common. Dnase B Antibody(LAB3020) is the recommended adjunct test
for patients with suspected non-purulent complications of Group A
streptococcal infection.
