Patient Prep: For premenopausal females, collection is preferred during the follicular phase of the menstrual cycle.

Collection Medium:

Minimum:

Preferred Minimum: 0.5 mL serum
Absolute Minimum: 0.3 mL serum

Rejection Criteria:

Room temperature specimens. Grossly hemolyzed specimens. Plasma.

Delivery Instructions:
Submit specimen to laboratory as soon as possible after collection period is completed.
Turn Around Time:

1–8 days upon receipt at reference laboratory.
