Thank you for choosing the University of Iowa Health Care for your clinical rotation. Before you begin your clinical experience, you are required to complete mandatory training modules.
Please follow these 4 steps:
STEP 1: Set up your password.
STEP 2: Complete your training modules in Compliance & Qualifications (CQ).
STEP 3: Save a record of your completed trainings.
STEP 4: Upload your files and completed forms.

Parking Options During Clinical Rotation
STEP 1: SET UP YOUR PASSWORD
Go to website https://healthcareid.uiowa.edu to set up your HealthCareID password.
Choose "Reset" and follow the prompts.
Troubleshooting Password Issues: If you have trouble setting up your HealthCareID password, please call the Help Desk at 319-356-0001 . If the Help Desk asks you for your university ID number, you can find it in the initial email you received from Martin Gallardo.

STEP 2: COMPLETE TRAINING MODULES IN COMPLIANCE & QUALIFICATIONS (CQ)
CQ is our online learning system where you'll complete mandatory training modules. Please follow the instructions to log in.
Log in to CQ: Go to CQ System and use your HealthCareID password to log in.
Navigate to "My Training": Click on My Training button.
Enroll in courses:
Click on "Enroll in Courses" button.
Enter course title or the H number (H0XXXX) into the search field. (See lists below for your required training.)
Once course is located, click View Details button to view course details.
Click Enroll in Session button.
Complete the Training Module.
Click "this link" to begin.
Work through all the content within the module.
Take the final quiz after completing the module.
Check your grade: Click on the Grades button to see your quiz score. You need 80% or higher to pass.

STEP 3: SAVE A RECORD OF YOUR COMPLETED TRAININGS
Once you have completed all of your required training modules in CQ, you will need to save a record of your completion. Please do this on the day after you finish all the modules.
Go to CQ System and use your HealthCareID password to log in.
Click My Training button.
Click My Courses button.
Click Past Courses tab.
Click the drop down arrow to Show All records.
Click PDF button.
Save this PDF file to your computer. You will need to upload it in the next step.

STEP 4: UPLOAD YOUR FILES AND COMPLETE FORMS
Returning Students: A new checklist must be submitted each semester. Do not re-use checklists from previous semesters.
Please save digital copies (images or PDFs) on your computer of the following documents:
Compliance Completions - see steps 2-3 above
Insurance Card - front and back
Mandatory Reporter Certificates - adult and child
Student Checklist Form - with Section 2 completed by your school
NOTE: In box 1. Sponsoring School Requirements of your Student Checklist form , make sure your N95 Respirator Fitting is complete and indicate the date. This is required by the hospital for your university placement.
If you don’t have a local option for your N95 fitting, the university offers fittings at our North Liberty campus for a fee. Visit: UI Occupational Health | University of Iowa Health Care .
IMPORTANT: Don't forget to sign and date your checklist in the bottom box!
When all of your files are ready, proceed to Document Upload Portal.

Parking Options During Clinical Rotation:
Option 1: Obtain a temporary permit to the Hawkeye Commuter lot for $20/month.
Contact the parking office directly at 319-335-1475. Inform them that you are not a UIowa student.
Have the following information ready:
Your credit card details
The specific dates you need the permit for
Your vehicle's license plate number
Your vehicle's make and model
Option 2: Pay the hourly rate at Hawkeye Ramp, Newton Road, or Field House.
The hourly rate is graduated and increases after the third hour if entering between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m.
NOTE: Availability of hourly parking depends upon capacity, weather, and events.
IMPORTANT: Do not park in patient parking locations such as Parking Ramp 1, Parking Ramp 2 and Parking Ramp 4.
