My research focus is on the
cardiovascular and neurophysiologic consequences of obesity with particular
focus on obesity induced hypertension. My work in the lab has been focused on the
renin-angiotensin system of the adipose
tissue. I am pursuing several experiments
to test the hypothesis that the adipose renin-angiotensin system is a new player in obesity-associated hypertension.
