(PYRUVATE, PROPIONYL-COA, AND 3-METHYLCROTONYL-COA CARBOXYLASES)
Radiochemical assays performed on cultured cells or isolated
lymphocytes. Carboxylases are routinely run once a week. Please
schedule blood draw on Monday thru Wednesday. Blood for lymphocyte
assay must be shipped at room temperature same day as drawn to be
received at the laboratory by following morning. We must process the
blood for lymphocytes with in 24 hours of the blood collection. Please
fill out any relevant patient data on the requisition form to assist
in interpretation. Fibroblast analysis will have an additional charge
for culture and storage.
