  to LCM virus detected, suggestive of current or past infection.

  Is less than 1:1 Negative - No significant level of LCM virus IgM
  antibody detected.

  Is greater than or equal to 1:1 Positive - Presence of IgM antibody
  to LCM virus detected, suggestive of current or past infection.

Interpretive Data:

The best evidence for current infection is a significant change on two appropriately timed specimens, where both tests are done in the same laboratory at the same time.
