Minimum:

Adult: 2 mL whole blood in lavender top tube (EDTA)
Pediatric: 2 mL whole blood in lavender top tube (EDTA)
Minimum specimen requirements are cell count dependent.

For absolute quantitative results, a CBC with Automated Differential must also be ordered.

Delivery Instructions:
Keep at room temperature. Do not refrigerate.

Send to tube station #260 or deliver to Specimen Control, 6240 RCP.

Testing Schedule:
0800-1630 Monday through Friday. For additional services, contact Clinical Pathology Resident on-call at pager #3404.

Samples will be processed during the hours of 0800–1600 daily. Samples that arrive on weekends or holidays will be triaged and processed during the next business day. For additional services, contact Clinical Pathology Resident on-call at pager #3404

Reference Range:

Antibodies performed vary with the patient's clinical problem; please provide history and lab findings. The pathologist will provide an interpretative report.
