| The Diagnostic Molecular Pathology Laboratory provides testing and consultation in genetic, infectious and neoplastic diseases. We are part of the Emory Warner Laboratories at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC). These laboratories provide over 2.5 million tests per year and are staffed by more than 250 highly trained professionals of laboratory medicine. The UIHC is an institution recognized for 13 years in a row by U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation's finest teaching hospitals. |
| The Diagnostic Molecular Pathology Laboratory also provides testing for regional, national and international clients as a part of the University of Iowa Diagnostic Laboratories (UIDL), the reference laboratory service of the Department of Pathology of the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Both the UIHC and the UI Carver College of Medicine fall under the administrative umbrella of University of Iowa Health Care |
