  • Allele loss analysis in craniofacial development
  • Wound healing in both post natal and fetal models, and particularly how modified mechanisms of wound healing can be applied to craniofacial surgery
  • Transplanted fat physiology with applications to improvement of velopharyngeal incompetency
  • Developing new fixation methods for use in pediatric craniofacial surgery
  • Molecular analysis of scar formation and regulation
  • Electrophysiologic analysis of palatal motion control mechanisms
