General Information
Both poster sessions will be located in the Medical Education and Research Facility (MERF) Atrium. Posters must be ready for posting one hour prior to the beginning of the session and must not be taken down before 5:00 pm. Presenters must be available to answer questions during the session. Poster numbers will be assigned, which will be available on the Information Board behind the Coordinator's table.
Deadlines
Poster entries submitted for competition are due by March 17, 2008. Registration will be available through this website beginning January 1.
Awards
There will be three monetary prizes ($350 each) given each day for graduate students and medical students and postdoctoral fellows, residents and staff. Faculty posters will not be judged.
Judging Criteria
The abstract will be judged in conjunction with the poster. The individual presenting the poster must be present during the entire session. There is a 250-word limit, excluding the title and the authors.
Board Specifications
Poster boards have a display area of approximately 4' x 6'. Presenters are reminded that they are discouraged from tacking posters to the wooden framing surrounding the display area in order to preserve the condition of the boards for future use.
