Radiology Sections: Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Imaging

The chest division deals with all aspects of chest imaging including CT guided chest / lung biopsies and CT aortic and coronary angiography. Responsibilities include plain film and digital chest radiography of inpatients and outpatients as well as imaging of the surgical, cardiac, and medical intensive care units. Facilities include several new spiral CT scanners equiped with CT fluoroscopy. Using a new dual source CT, the division in collaboration with Cardiology provides full CTA coronary angiography, including coronary calcium quantification and complete functional analysis of heart morphology and function. State of the art workstations and software also enable our radiologist to perform CAD analysis of radiographs for nodules as well as volumetric and growth assessment of lung nodules.
