Fellowships: Breast Imaging

Program Information

The Breast Imaging Fellowship Program currently offers a one-year fellowship with opportunities for participation in clinical research and teaching. As one of the largest teaching hospitals in the country, UIHC has a growing screening and diagnostic breast imaging program, including digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and an active image-guided intervention program. Candidates must have completed an accredited residency program and be board certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. Women and members of minority groups are strongly encouraged to apply. Fellows receive free medical and dental care for themselves and their immediate family at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Additionally, malpractice insurance is provided through the State of Iowa at no charge. The yearly stipend is competitive with other comparable programs.
