- PhD Program
Applications to the Department of Pharmacology's PhD graduate program are submitted via the Biosciences Centralized Application System, an electronic application system that streamlines the admissions process for 13 PhD training programs, including the Department of Pharmacology's PhD program.
The electronic application system transmits your file directly to the Department of Pharmacology's Admission Committee for evaluation.
- MS Program
Applications to the Department of Pharmacology's MS graduate program are submitted via the Pharmacology online application system for applicants residing inside the U.S., and via the University of Iowa Graduate College's online application system for applicants residing outside the U.S.
In addition to the online application, secondary application materials must be submitted.
- Please note that a Masters degree is not required for the Pharmacology PhD program. Applications for the PhD program should be submitted through the Biosciences Centralized Application System.
- The Pharmacology application form
and all supplementary application materials should be submitted
by January 15, 2009 for
full consideration. After initial screening of applications is
completed, selected candidates will be invited for an on-campus
interview at
the program's expense. The admissions process is done on a rolling
basis, so applicants are encouraged to complete their applications
as early as possible.
