The Tissue Quality Assurance Coordinator responsibilities include reviewing, managing and maintaining an error management program along with the Blood Center Quality Assurance Coordinator for the manufacturing processes in the DeGowin Blood Center.
Christy is responsible for ensuring compliance with accreditating and regulatory agencies (College of American Pathologists (CAP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), The Joint Commission (JC), Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) and AABB). She works in close cooperation with other Quality Accreditation and Compliance team members and with the DeGowin Blood Center management staff.
