As Accreditation and Compliance Coordinator, Denise’s responsibilities include overseeing the proficiency testing program for the Department, assisting with all aspects of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) accreditation, and participating in compliance activities for adherence to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements. Denise designs and implements internal audits to ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies. She strives to improve laboratory practices through quality improvement and education.
