Negative: PG absent or <0.5 mcg/ml. Significant risk of RDS
Low Positive: Pg > or = to 0.5 mcg/ml. Low risk of RDS
High Positive: PG > 2 mcg/ml. Mature
Comments:
Test performed only if amniotic fluid is contaminated with meconium or
blood.
