Limitations:
Icterus: No significant interference up to an I index of 30
(approximate conjugated bilirubin concentration: 30 mg/dL).
Hemolysis: No significant interference up to an H index of 500 mg/dL
(approximate hemoglobin concentration: 500 mg/dL).
Lipemia (Intralipid): No significant interference up to an L index of
1500 mg/dL (approximate triglycerides concentration: 3000 mg/dL). There
is poor correlation between turbidity and triglycerides
concentration.

Processing:
Centrifuge within two hours of draw time.
Aliquot plasma into plastic container and cap (glass is not acceptable).
Centrifuge a second time at 3500 RPM for 10 minutes and aliquot into a new, labeled plastic tube.
