Comments:
Tissue sections are reviewed by a pathologist. RNA is isolated from the selected area of the sample. Anchored multiplex PCR for a targeted next-generation sequencing is performed. The sequenced sample is a reverse transcription PCR-amplified fragenbt library in which each sample is uniquely identified by ligation of a short oligonucleotide barcode. The resultant sequence identifies the exons of the fusion transcript arising from the specific gene target and the partnet gene.

The panel target gene rearrangements of these gene targets: ETV6, EWSR1, HMGA2, HRAS, MAML2, MYB, MYBL1, NFIB, NTRK3, NUTM1, PLAG1, PRKD1, PRKD2, PRKD3.
