0700-2200, 7 days a week, including holidays.

Analytic Time:

Cultures are completed within 2-3 days.

Comments:

Used to detect colonization with Staphylococcus aureus only. All 
Staphylococcus aureus isolates are screened for methicillin 
susceptibility. This test should not be used to establish the diagnosis 
of infection.
