Schedule:

Samples will be run on Tuesday and Friday during the day shift. 
Samples must be in the laboratory by 0600 on Tuesday and Friday 
in order to make the run.  Testing will not be performed if 
University holiday falls on a Tuesday or Friday.

Confirmatory test can only be done on serum.

Processing:

Centrifuge at 3000 RPM for 10 minutes.
Aliquot serum into labeled container and cap.

Refrigerate if stored overnight, weekends or holidays.

Transport
Instructions:

Place specimen into zip-lock type bag, seal bag.
Place requisition into outside pocket of bag.
Use refrigerated coolant packs.
