24 hrs/day, 7 days a week, including holidays.

Men: 0-15 mm/hr; women: 0-20 mm/hr (Westergren method)

Instructions:

Stability: 12 hours at 2-8 C or 4 hours @ room temperature.

Sample Processing:

Submit whole blood in original container.
Do Not Centrifuge.

Sample Storage:

Refrigerate.

Transport Instructions:

Place specimen into zip-lock type bag, seal bag.
Place requisition into outside pocket of bag.
Transport in cooler with refrigerated coolant packs.
