Delays in Pathology Mailout Testing Due to Weather Impact on Couriers and Express Shipping, Tuesday, January 9, 2024

The recent severe weather in our area has impacted courier service and express shipping to major reference laboratories, such as Mayo Clinic and ARUP Laboratories, and shipping to other reference laboratories via FedEx. Shipping of mailout testing collected yesterday afternoon and today will be delayed. Pathology mailouts staff will stabilize samples and ship when conditions improve for express courier, likely tomorrow, Wednesday, January 10.
