Minimum:
Slides labeled with the patient name. 4-5 air dried slides and 1-2 slides fixed immediately with cell spray fixative (available on floors and in clinics). Deliver to the lab. After 1700 daily, weekends and holidays, deliver to Specimen Control (6240 RCP).
Turn Around Time:

Reference Range:
The pathologist will provide an interpretative report.
Comments:
The requisition with complete patient history and specific request for identification of amyloid must accompany the specimen.
