Rejection Criteria:


Hemolyzed, icteric or lipemic specimens; plasma specimens


Testing Schedule:


Batch analysis performed and reported on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.


Reference Range:


Interpretation:
   Negative: no IgM anti-CMV antibodies detected
  Equivocal: repeat testing with a new specimen within one week
   Positive: IgM anti-CMV antibodies detected
